Lost in the woods February 1997 I have been lead to believe. There was dust on everything. Smell is thick and strong. No window, no light, set me free. Damp carpet floor and walls reflecting the darkness back within me. Familiar painted eyes from years of music been. You've seen a lot yet I see you've seen nothing at all. Complacency kills. There is a presents baring down on me. Why must you taunt me. Where are the words to express what I feel? They do not answer. Consumed by this madness I don't understand, now lets play as fast as we can. You were a happy face yet so sad. Past, present, future no beginning no end. I swear the walls shuttered slightly at the noises we were producing. Is this just the dream within a dream, this all feels so unfamiliar to me now. Maybe it's all in my mind. You harbour this fugitive for a short time and soon it will be over. I reassure again. The tension was thick so go back to sleep, now the tape in my hands it was complete. Feeling so electric alive with confidence and accomplishment. So quickly deflated by her response to hearing Stagerot. She smiled as best she can. I know nothing but what I am. This country girl liked me and tried to understand. Is a story without tragedy to good to be true. I should right a better song, that is what I must do.
